Spotlight on the Women’s REACH Program

The Women’s REACH program, funded by the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), is here to support pregnant and parenting women facing substance use or co-occurring disorders. It also extends a helping hand to fathers, grandparents, LGBTQIA+ individuals, partners of WRN clients, and other family members or natural supports affected by substance use.

The Women’s Recovery, Engagement, Access, Coaching, and Healing (REACH) program offers services like outreach, short-term case management, recovery coaching, and connections to community and recovery support. The support you receive is personalized to fit your needs, typically ranging from 1-90 days, with the option for more time if needed. Participation in the program is completely voluntary, allowing you to engage in a way that feels right for you.

Whether you refer yourself, or come through a provider or community program, we’re here to help. Everyone deserves support, and we’re ready to provide it.

For more information or to make a referral, contact Aleksandra Slaski, Director of Clinical Development, at (475) 234-1717 or alslaski@theconnectioninc.org.

Together, we’re helping women and families on their journey to recovery, creating healthier futures for all.
